Irewole Samuel Oni, professionally known as Wole Oni, is a highly acclaimed Nigerian songwriter, jazz musician, and music producer. Born in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria, he is widely regarded as one of Africa’s most successful music producers. He is a United Nations International Ambassador for Peace and is the first African artist to be endorsed by Yamaha Corporation. He is married with children.

Wole Oni is a multifaceted artist whose music spans a sophisticated blend of Jazz, Gospel, and Afrobeat. He is a master on the keyboard and synthesizer and is known for his ability to produce music that is both technically brilliant and spiritually profound. He has produced over 1,500 artists and more than 10,000 songs, including major hits like “Igwe” by Midnight Crew, “Kosobabire” by Folake Umosen, and “Ijoba Orun” by Lara George.

Wole Oni is the founder and CEO of Instinct Productions and Wole Oni Music Productions (WOMP Records). He has also been a judge on several music talent shows and has earned numerous awards, including multiple AGMA UK Awards for Best Producer in Africa. He recently became a member of the Recording Academy, making him eligible to contribute to the Grammy voting process. He releases his music through his own label and through collaborations with other artists.
