Salau Aliu Olayiwola, known professionally as Testimony Jaga, is a Nigerian Fuji and Afro-pop gospel artist. Born on 9 March, 1987, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, he hails from Ijebu-Remo in Ogun State. He is recognized for pioneering the “Street Gospel Movement,” a ministry that combines music and social welfare services to spread the gospel. He transitioned from secular music to gospel in 2012.
Testimony Jaga began his gospel music career with Loveworld Records, under Pastor Chris Oyakhilome. He has released several successful singles and albums through this affiliation, including his impactful song “Igara (Boast),” which earned him the “Artist of the Year” award at the LIMA Awards in 2019. He continues to release new music and perform globally.
