Tauren Gabriel Wells is an American singer, songwriter, and pastor. He was born on April 7, 1986, in Battle Creek, Michigan. Before his successful solo career, Wells was the frontman for the Christian rock band Royal Tailor. He is married to Lorna Brittany Wells, and together they have four sons.
Wells’s music is a blend of Contemporary Christian Music, Christian pop, Christian R&B, and Christian hip hop. He is celebrated for his high-energy performances, catchy melodies, and deeply authentic lyrics. His solo career took off with his 2017 debut album, Hills and Valleys, which earned him two Grammy nominations. He has since released several other albums, including Joy in the Morning (2022) and an EP titled Take It All Back (2023).
Throughout his career, Wells has been associated with record labels such as Reunion Records, Essential Records, and Capitol CMG. Beyond his music, he and his wife, Lorna, have co-founded Church of Whitestone in Austin, Texas, where they both serve as lead pastors.
