Prince Emmanuel, professionally known as Prinx Emmanuel, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, producer, and sound engineer. Born in 1993 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, he is celebrated for pioneering “jirating gospel,” a unique blend of Afrobeats rhythms, Nigerian Pidgin English, and faith-based lyrics. His passion for music developed early, influenced by his father’s love for Afrobeats and his own beginnings as a church drummer.

Prinx Emmanuel largely operates as an independent artist, with his music widely available on digital platforms. He is also the founder of CHD Records, a Nigerian record label established in 2023. His hit song “Kumama Papa,” featuring Grace Lokwa and Moses Bliss, became a global viral sensation. He continues to release new music, including his recent album “According to Brother Nwachukwu” released in March, 2025.
