Praise Ugbede Adejo, known professionally as Praiz, is a Nigerian R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. Born on 8 March, 1985, in Lagos, Nigeria, he later relocated to Kaduna. He rose to prominence after finishing as the second runner-up in the debut season of Project Fame West Africa. Praiz is recognized for his soulful R&B sound, influenced by artists like Michael Jackson, and for hit singles such as “I Love You,” “Sisi,” and “Rich and Famous.”
Praiz initially signed with X3M Music and later launched his own record label, Cicada Music, in July, 2020. His discography includes albums like “Rich & Famous” (2014) and “2 Minutes EP” (2018), along with numerous collaborations with artists such as Bez, Wizkid, and Awilo Longomba.
