Paul Sylvester Morton Jr., widely known as PJ Morton, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on 29 March, 1981, in New Orleans, Louisiana, he is celebrated for his soulful R&B sound and his profound contributions to both gospel and mainstream music. Since 2012, he has also been the keyboardist for the Grammy Award-winning pop band Maroon 5.
PJ Morton has been associated with several record labels throughout his career, including Young Money, Cash Money, Republic, and A&M/Octone Records. He also independently operates Morton Records, which he founded in 2016.
