Onoriode Ebiere Ariyo, professionally known as Onos or Onos Ariyo, is a Nigerian gospel singer and songwriter. Born in Delta State, Southern Nigeria, she is celebrated for her powerful voice and critically acclaimed songs like “Alagbara,” which have made her a prominent figure in the Nigerian gospel music scene since her debut in 2009. She is also recognized for her impactful ministry and for being listed among the Global Top 100 Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) in 2018.
Onos made history in November 2024 by becoming the first gospel artist in Nigeria to be signed to Sony Music West Africa. Prior to this significant signing, she released music independently and through various distribution channels. Her discography includes several albums such as “Keep Moving,” “No Limit,” “Songs From The Place Of Prayer,” “Breathe,” and “New Dimension.”
