The Ndlovu Youth Choir is a South African musical group formed in 2009 as an after-school activity of the Ndlovu Care Group, a childcare community in Elandsdoorn, Limpopo. Comprising young people, the choir is renowned for its vibrant performances, blending traditional African genres with pop, rock, and jazz. They gained international fame in 2019 after reaching the finals of America’s Got Talent. The choir’s mission extends beyond music, as it also serves as a job creation program and provides a global platform for its members.
Following their success on America’s Got Talent, the Ndlovu Youth Choir signed a record deal with Syco Entertainment, a global joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment Africa. Through this partnership, they released their debut album “Africa” in 2019, which achieved significant success. They continue to release new music and perform globally, with their work widely available on digital streaming platforms.
