Micah Keith Stampley is an acclaimed American gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader, renowned for his extraordinary multi-octave vocal range and passionate delivery. Born on September 7, 1971, in Los Angeles, California, he was raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where his musical journey began early. By age four, he was already singing, and by seven, he was leading choirs—demonstrating a precocious talent for music and ministry.
His wife, Heidi Jones Stampley, is not only his life partner but also his manager and collaborator in many creative and entrepreneurial ventures.
Micah’s breakthrough came in 2004, when he won the Stellar Award Gospel Star Search, launching his professional recording career. In 2005, he released his debut album, “The Songbook of Micah,” which quickly earned him widespread recognition in the gospel music world. His career spans multiple acclaimed projects, including “A Fresh Wind… The Second Sound,” “Ransomed,” “Release Me,” “One Voice,” “Love Never Fails,” and “To the King: Vertical Worship.”
Over the years, he has worked with prominent labels such as EMI Gospel, Music World Entertainment, Motown Gospel, and his own imprint, Interface Entertainment.
