Born on 26 April, 1983, in Nairobi, Kenya, she started singing at a young age, with her first album “Nobody Like Jesus” released while she was still in primary school. She is recognized for her inspiring lyrics and soulful melodies, which often incorporate African rhythms, making her a prominent figure in the East African gospel music scene.
Mercy Masika has primarily operated as an independent artist for much of her career, with her music widely available on digital platforms.
