Loyiso Gijana, professionally known as Lloyiso, is a South African singer-songwriter and producer. Born on 8 March, 1999, in Uitenhage, Eastern Cape, Lloyiso developed a keen interest in music at the age of 12. His powerful vocals and soulful sound quickly garnered attention, leading him to participate in Season 11 of Idols SA in 2015. This experience honed his craft and ignited his ambition to pursue a full-time career in music, laying the groundwork for his future success.

He made history as the first South African artist to be signed by Republic Records, a major international label, in 2021, a significant milestone that propelled his music onto a global stage.
