Michael Santiago Render, known professionally as Killer Mike, is an American rapper, singer, and activist. Born on 20 April, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S., he is a prominent voice in hip-hop, known for his politically charged lyrics and sharp social commentary. He first gained recognition with his feature on OutKast’s Grammy-winning single “The Whole World” in 2001 and has since established a solo career and become one half of the critically acclaimed duo Run the Jewels.
