Juma Abdallah Kyando, known professionally as Kibonge Wa Yesu, is a Tanzanian gospel singer, worship leader, and songwriter. Born on 11 November, 1996, he embraced Christianity in 2009 and began his music career in 2015. He gained prominence with his 2017 song “SITOKI” and his debut album “NI YESU/ THE BEST OF KIBONGE WA YESU” in 2018. He is recognized for his inspiring Swahili gospel music and his ability to uplift audiences.
Kibonge Wa Yesu is the founder of Kibo Melodies, a Tanzanian record label and a clothing brand. His music is widely available on digital streaming platforms such as Boomplay and Apple Music. He continues to release new material, with recent singles in 2025 including “Grateful Heart,” “Nimeachilia,” and “My Blessings.” He also frequently collaborates with other gospel artists.
