Hassan Kehinde Daniel, known professionally as Kent Edunjobi, is a Nigerian songwriter and music producer. He is recognized for his unique blend of Afrocentric music, fusing traditional Nigerian folk sounds with Western influences. He gained significant prominence for composing movie soundtracks, notably for acclaimed Nigerian films like “Aníkúlápó” (which earned him an AMVCA award in 2023) and “Citation” (for which he won an AMAA in 2021). He is also the music director for the Apex Choir of the Celestial Church of Christ.
Kent Edunjobi primarily releases his music independently. His work is widely available on various digital streaming platforms. While he has been composing for Kunle Afolayan Productions (KAP Records) since 2016, his solo releases and collaborations, such as the viral hit “Ebenezeri” with the Apex Choir and EmmaOMG, are primarily self-released. He continues to release new projects, including albums like “Hymns We Love to Sing” (2025) and numerous singles.
