Kemelayefa Lord Kayama, widely known as Kemelord, is a prominent Nigerian gospel artist, songwriter, and vocalist hailing from Bayelsa State. Rooted in his early involvement with the Nigerian Celestial Church before transitioning to Pentecostalism, Kemelord’s musical journey started in childhood and matured through his role as choir leader at Divine Fortune Assembly. He holds a B.Sc. from Niger Delta University.
Kemelord officially launched his music career with the debut single “Ceaseless Love” in 2022, recorded at Meeting Joe Studio. Since then, he has released several spiritually rich singles including “Majesty,” “Satisfy,” “Odogwu,” and “My Heart Cry.” His sound is known for its exquisite and spirit-filled vocals, skillfully blending strings and fusion elements to create a unique atmosphere that bridges the visible and the spiritual.
