Born on 24 December, 1977, in Kisumu, Kenya, she began her music career in 2013 after gaining an interest in singing in church. She is recognized for her uplifting Swahili gospel songs and gained significant attention with her debut single “Napokea Kwako,” featuring Tanzanian gospel singer Christina Shusho, which earned her a Mwafaka Award for “Collaboration of the Year” in 2014.
