Israel & New Breed is an American Christian music collective and worship ensemble, led by six-time Grammy Award winner Israel Demlan Houghton. The group was formed in 1995 in Houston, Texas, by Israel Houghton and his then-wife Meleasa Houghton, with a vision to break down cultural and denominational barriers through music. Their nationality is American.

The collective is renowned for its diverse sound, which powerfully fuses elements of gospel, jazz, rock, R&B, and Latin music, creating a unique cross-cultural style of worship. Over their career, Israel & New Breed have released numerous acclaimed albums, including “New Season Live” (2001), “Live From Another Level” (2004), “Alive In South Africa” (2005), “Jesus At The Center” (2012), and “Covered: Alive In Asia” (2015).
