Ifiok Effanga, known professionally as Fiokee, is a Nigerian guitarist, songwriter, and record producer. Born on 10 January, 1982, in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, he is recognized for his trebly guitar solos infused with highlife and Afrobeats. He began playing the guitar at a young age, and his talent was brought to a national platform when he won the Star Quest competition in 2008 as part of the group Diamonds.
Fiokee is the founder of his own record label, Fiokee Records, which he established in 2016. His discography includes his debut album, MAN, which features collaborations with a number of African artists. He has worked with many top artists in the music industry, contributing his signature guitar sound to hit songs like “Duro,” “Woju,” and “Orente,” and has also collaborated with artists like Chike and Gyakie on his own singles.
