Elizabeth Asher Holcomb, known professionally as Ellie Holcomb, is an American contemporary Christian music (CCM) and folk singer-songwriter. Born on 12 September, 1982, in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S., she is the daughter of noted music producer Brown Bannister. She began her musical career in 2005 as a member of her husband Drew Holcomb’s band, Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors, before launching her solo career in 2011. She is recognized for her deeply honest and reflective songwriting, often drawing inspiration from her faith and personal experiences.
Ellie Holcomb has released music through several labels, including her own Full Heart Music, and has signed with Capitol CMG (Capitol Christian Music Group). She also releases music with her husband under Magnolia Music. Her discography includes successful albums like “As Sure as the Sun” (2014), “Red Sea Road” (2017), and “Canyon” (2021).
