Mdumiseni Nzimande, known professionally as Dumi Mkokstad, is a South African gospel singer and songwriter. He is recognized for his powerful voice and for creating music with a spiritual message. His musical journey began at the age of nine in his hometown of Cabazana, Mount Ayliff, where he was discovered by a producer while singing at a church.

Dumi Mkokstad is the CEO of Shammah Records. He has released numerous albums, including Calvary and The Overflow Gcwala Kimi, and his music is widely available on digital streaming platforms. His work has earned him multiple awards, including the Best Gospel Songwriter at the 16th Crown Gospel Music Awards and a win for the Song of the Year award at the 11th SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards.
