Derek Laurence Johnson Jr., known professionally as Derek Minor, is an American Christian rapper, singer, and record producer. Born on 16 December, 1984, in Pontiac, Michigan, U.S., he is recognized for his thought-provoking lyrics and for blending hip-hop with a faith-based perspective. He is a prominent figure in Christian hip-hop and co-founded his own record label, Reflection Music Group, in 2011.
