Denzel Kwabena Owusu-Ansah Agyeman-Prempeh, known professionally as Denzel Prempeh, is a Ghanaian gospel musician and pastor. Born on 17 April, 1984, in Accra, Greater Accra, Ghana, he is recognized as a forerunner of the urban contemporary gospel music movement in Ghana. He joined the Love Project Choir in 2006 under the mentorship of Danny Nettey and later founded his own music ministry. He is known for his powerful worship leading and his impactful live recording concerts.
Denzel Prempeh founded the Heartbeat Music label in 2010, a non-denominational Christian music group under which he has released his projects. His discography includes live solo albums such as “Tent Experience” (2014) and “A Sound from Heaven” (2019), and several singles. His music is widely available on digital streaming platforms, and he continues to release new projects, with his “Shekere Praise – EP” released in 2025. He serves as a reverend minister at Destiny Chapel, Mount Zion, in Adenta, Accra, and leads worship movements in both Ghana (“Touching God’s Heart”) and the USA (“The Stirring”).
