Choisie Basolua is a gospel singer from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Born on 4 July, she began her musical journey at a young age, performing her first show in 1999 when she was three years old. Her parents, both passionate about music, provided a supportive environment for her talent to flourish, leading to the launch of her career in 2005 with her first physical album.
Choisie Basolua has released music through P&G Productions and also through other labels such as Basakoli Music. Her discography includes albums like “Naza Molongi” (2008), “Loyembo Ya Sika” (2009), and “Temoignage” (2017). She continues to release new singles and EPs, with recent works including “Ami confident” in April 2025 and “Au controle” in July 2025, and she is known for collaborations with artists like Yannick Timité and Mike Flor Mulumba.
