Olubukunola Bekes, known professionally as Bukola Bekes, is a Nigerian gospel music minister, singer, and songwriter. Born on 10 September, 1980, in Lagos State, Nigeria, she is recognized for her deeply spiritual and often spontaneous worship sessions. She is a prominent figure in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) choir, where she leads praise and worship and composes theme songs for their major conventions and congresses. She is sometimes fondly referred to as “Olorikokoro,” meaning “Master Key,” a nickname she earned after composing the theme song for a Holy Ghost Congress.
Bukola Bekes has released her music through various channels, with some sources indicating an association with Tehilla Records. However, much of her vast discography, including albums like “Osuba Re,” “Yadah,” “I Am Tired Of The Valley,” and recent projects such as “BUKOLA BEKES 83 HOURS MARATHON PRAISE” (released in March, 2025), is widely available on digital streaming platforms, often released independently or through her own ministry. She frequently ministers with her husband, Damilola Bekes, who is a saxophonist and music director.
