Dr. Akaratu-Balogun Martyns, widely known as Broda Martyns (or Broda Martins), is a Nigerian gospel music legend, singer, songwriter, and pastor. Hailing from Igarra in Edo State, Nigeria, he has been a prominent figure in the Nigerian gospel music ministry for almost four decades and has served in pastoral ministry for over 25 years. He is often recognized for his unique “street Gospel Music styles” and fusion of Afrobeat with gospel.

Broda Martyns is the founder and operates under his own record label, Most High Music. He is widely acclaimed for his debut album “Mushin Olosha” and has consistently released music throughout his extensive career. He was recently featured on the song “God’s Announcement” from the “UNDER SIEGE (Official Movie Soundtracks),” alongside Jaymikee. He is also the national president of the Kingdom Music Foundation, an umbrella body for Nigerian gospel musicians.
