Brandon Lake: A Grammy-Winning Voice in Modern Worship
Michael Brandon Lake, born on June 21, 1990, in Dallas, Texas, is a celebrated American worship leader, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pastor. Raised in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where his father served as a pastor, Brandon’s early life was deeply rooted in faith and music.
He launched his musical journey with the independent release of Closer in 2016, but his breakthrough came when he joined Bethel Music in 2019. Since then, Brandon has released acclaimed albums like House of Miracles (2020) and Help! (2022), solidifying his place among contemporary worship’s most influential voices. In 2023, he released Coat of Many Colors through Provident Label Group, part of Sony Music Entertainment.
Known for powerful collaborations with Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music, Brandon contributed to chart-topping worship anthems such as “Graves into Gardens” and “Talking to Jesus.”
