Bisi Alawiye-Aluko, popularly known as Mama Shindara, is a Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and recording artist. Born on 23 July in Ilesha, Osun State, Western Nigeria, she is recognized for her dynamic and versatile style in eulogizing God’s name through music. Coming from a background as the 13th of 15 children to a polygamist Muslim father, her journey in gospel music began with her first album, “Lana-komi,” in 1999.
Bisi Alawiye-Aluko primarily releases her music through independent channels and her own ministry.
