Beejay Sax, whose real name is Abolaji David Banjoko, is a prominent Nigerian gospel saxophonist and music minister. Originally a Mechanical Engineering graduate from Olabisi Onabanjo University, he transitioned fully into music ministry, driven by a profound understanding of music’s power as a spiritual offering.

His distinctive, rich, and spirit-filled tone on the saxophone has made him highly sought after within and beyond Nigeria, earning him a significant place in the contemporary gospel music scene.

Beejay Sax has released several albums, including “Marvelous God,” “Joyful Praise,” “Night of Worship,” and “One Thing,” alongside numerous singles and EPs like “David’s Praise” (released on 7 April, 2025) and “Modupeoluwa.” He is also the convener of the popular “Beejay Sax Live Concert” and has ministered at major international gospel events such as The Experience.

Happily married to Modupeoluwa since September 23, 2017, and blessed with two children, Beejay Sax continues to use his talent to inspire worship and spread messages of faith.
